Primary Languages

We offer language courses to teachers working in the Primary Sector.
These courses will equip you with basic language skills and language teaching techniques that you can take to your classsroom to use with your pupils.

Available for FRENCH and SPANISH.

LANGUAGES LOYALTY CARD

A brand new concept this year is the Languages Loyalty Card only available for our trio of one day courses. In the language of your choice you can attend a mini-series of three days: Passport, Shopping, and Treasure Hunt. At the end of the last day you will receive a FREE dictionary! If you book all three by 15th September 2010, you will receive a 10% discount.

Welcome

Havering Adult College have been up and running since 1970 and we are proud of the wide range of language courses we offer. Courses range from complete beginners to advanced conversation, to provide routes for progression to our learners.

We mainly offer long accredited courses, but we also offer short holiday courses which will give you practical tips and basic language to use when you go abroad.

We also offer one day and weekend courses to allow you to taste the language and soak up the culture. They range from wine testing events, Prepare for your Holiday, and Cinema appreciation.

From Sept 2010 you can also look forward to GCSE French, GCSE SOS, and employability skills with a language of your choice.

In addition, we offer a range of Family Learning classes where parents can experience the joy of learning with their children.
